2024 Budget: Key changes and the implications for individuals and businesses

Hannah joined us in September 2022 to pursue her legal career, initially working as our front of house representative at our Romsey office on The Hundred, while also supporting both our Family Law and Wills, Probate and Estate Planning teams. During her time in the role, Hannah was delighted to be the friendly face, greeting clients and helping in any way she could. Good customer service for her means exceeding clients expectations by going the extra mile, describing herself as someone who likes to be helpful in difficult situations.
In May 2024, Hannah moved to our Strong House office at the Horsefair in Romsey with the Wills, Probate and Estate Planning team solely supporting her colleagues in this department in her role as Paralegal. In October 2024, Hannah began her first seat as a Trainee Solicitor in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution department and will spend the next two years with various teams before qualifying as a Solicitor.
Prior to joining us, Hannah gained her LLB with a First Class Honours in 2019 from Solent University, before completing her LPC with MSc in 2020 from the University of Law. After the Covid-19 pandemic, Hannah explored a different career path, working in a SEN school for a year, then as a Claims Assessor for an insurance company. All of her previous experiences prove to be valuable assets when taking into account Hannah's legal knowledge combined with her skill to work with those from every walk of life and excellent communication skills.
The receptionist, Hannah, was welcoming and friendly as soon as I went in. I had been recommended to see Hannah Goodeve and Hannah made an appointment for me to see her. Hannah Goodeve was every bit as lovely as I had been told. Friendly, professional and interested. She did what she said she would in the time she said she would. I have already recommended her to friends who now have an appointment to see her.
When considering her choice of Parker Bullen to begin her legal career, Hannah particularly enjoys the work/life balance, especially as she relies on public transport to travel to and from work and so has the ability to work from home if there are delays or issues. Being allowed to bring dogs into the office is also a bonus, as well as the social side to the firm, such as pottery painting and picnics in the park when the weather allows.
Outside of work, Hannah is certified in epilepsy and seizure management as well as paediatric First Aid. She is currently learning British sign language and Makaton while volunteering for charities who work with children with profound physical and/or learning difficulties. When she is not selflessly looking after others, Hannah enjoys watching and playing sports, in particular cricket, as well as travelling.
