Parker Bullen LLP and Salisbury Hospice Charity are proud to announce the expansion of their longstanding partnership with the launch of a year-round Free Wills Scheme. This initiative aims to help raise essential funds for Salisbury Hospice, whilst supporting the local community and further strengthening the bond between the legal sector and charitable endeavours.
Parker Bullen LLP have partnered with Salisbury Hospice Charity over recent years, enabling members of the public to create their Wills, in exchange for a donation to the charity. Building on the remarkable success of this program, the new year-round Free Wills opportunity will offer individuals the opportunity to engage with the scheme at their convenience, spreading the impact and accessibility of this vital service.
Kirsty Gazzard, Wills and Probate Executive at Parker Bullen LLP, expressed enthusiasm for the evolution of the partnership, "We are thrilled to embark on this exciting new chapter with Salisbury Hospice Charity. Over the years, our Free Wills Scheme has empowered countless individuals to secure their legacies while supporting a cause close to their hearts. Extending this initiative year-round underscores our commitment to serving the community and reinforces the enduring value of estate planning. While we all know the importance of having a Will, we understand that taking this step can be daunting, which is why we are passionate about Free Wills schemes to make this more accessible to everyone. With over £67,000 raised in legacies for Salisbury Hospice during the 2024 February campaign alone, we are proud to see the impact of the campaign in future years to come."
Previous Wills Schemes have been instrumental in generating essential funds for Salisbury Hospice. Reflecting on the impact of the partnership, Katie Jackson from Salisbury Hospice remarked, "We are delighted to be building on the success of previous Will schemes with Parker Bullen’s team of Will writing experts. The support we receive from gifts in Wills is vital to the work of Salisbury Hospice. By contacting Kirsty and making an appointment, you can take advantage of this exciting initiative, which offers the opportunity to leave a gift in your Will to Salisbury Hospice, ensuring we can safeguard future services for those who need our support and services across the community.”
Effective June 1, 2024, individuals interested in participating in the Free Wills Scheme can contact Kirsty Gazzard on 01722 412000 or email kirsty.gazzard@parkerbullen.com to schedule an appointment.
