Parker Bullen solicitors, which has offices in Salisbury, Andover and Romsey has been recognised as one of the UK’s leading legal practices for its client communications.
In a very challenging year for all businesses, the Law Society recognised Parker Bullen in its hotly contested annual awards. From a UK wide shortlist Parker Bullen came second and was recognised with ‘Highly Commended’. The Law Society recognised the firm’s extensive community outreach at a time when many law firms closed their doors.
Gareth Horner, managing partner, comments;
“When many solicitors effectively shut up shop, we were determined to stay open and support all those who needed help. We connected with care homes, NHS Trusts and key worker businesses including schools, supermarkets and logistics businesses, to provide support in the form of accessible and affordable legal services.
As well as donating to the NHS, we said ‘thank you’ to key workers as well. Following the government’s recommendation that key workers make a Will we immediately offered a 50% discount for their writing. We also offered a 10% discount for property transactions for key workers, as well as donating iPads to a local Hospice to help keep families connected.
“While the pandemic had a huge impact on society, it also highlighted the importance of putting one’s affairs in order – a role we did our best to facilitate. That’s why we are so delighted to have been recognised as one of the top firms in the UK.”
