Commercial Property - Assistant - Romsey

Due to ongoing expansion within our Property department, we are now recruiting for an experienced Commercial Property Assistant to join us in our team based in Romsey (Strong House). 

The candidate

Ideally, the right person for the role will have experience in assisting a Commercial Solicitor with knowledge of legal terminology.  You will be well organised with a proactive approach to your workload.

The role

Amongst other duties, the role will mainly entail the following:

  • Preparing client care documents;
  • Conflict Legl checks;
  • File openings;
  • Downloading title documents, searches etc;
  • Producing bills and setting up payment forms;
  • Accounts slips / allocating funds / client to office / client to bill transfers;
  • Engrossing and issuing documents;
  • Drafting letters from dictation;
  • Matter closing letters and closure of electronic files; and
  • Scanning and archiving original documents.

We would consider both full and part time applicants for this role if the working hours suited the needs of the business.
